Hello everyone.
✍️ Today is the story and photos of the temple again. I am a person who likes to travel and the place that I like the most is the temple. If I don't have a child with autism that needs close supervision. My wife and I will travel to various attractions in thailand and abroad for sure. Now my wife and I can only travel and make merit at nearby places. when sending his son to school for autistic kids. We only have 4-6 hours. while the son was at his school. Therefore, the tourist attraction that we go to is the temple in Chai Prakan District. My wife and I like to go to temples because objectivefirst is to make merit and pay homage to monks. Objective 2 we go to travel and relax.
Chai Prakan District is the closest district to Fang district where I live. I've already told you that Chai Prakan District used to be an area in Fang District before, it was now Chai Prakan District. The temple that I would recommend and write about today is Wat Sri Dong Yen(วัดศรีดงเย็น). Another beautiful temple in Chai Prakan District and I wrote some stories in my morning post. But in this post I will write a brief history of this temple and add photos for the post Part 2.
Location and how to get to Wat Si Dong Yen.
✍️ Wat Sri Dong Yen is located at 1 Si Dong Yen Subdistrict, Chai Prakan District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. Travel route Chaiprakarn-Fang or Chiang Mai-Chaiyaprakan route. But I drove from the district above, therefore I drove go to the Fang- Chaiprakan route. Wat Sri Dong Yen is located on the main road. The notice point the temple is the nameplate of the temple on the roadside.
Today journey of me and my wife, the sky is full of rainclouds. We are lucky that it hasn't rained yet when we reach the temple and make merit and pay respect to the Buddha image at this temple. So I had time to take some pictures. But I had to hurry to take pictures because he was afraid of the rain.

✍️ I already said in my post this morning that I like this temple. Because it is another temple that is beautiful and peaceful. The landmark of this temple, in my opinion, is a large chapel with two floors. And a 3-headed king naga statue at the entrance of the large chapel. The chapel of this temple has 2 chapel which is a large chapel and a small chapel.
✍️ In addition, the scenery inside the temple has Many different images and new buildings. For example, giant statues, Buddha statues, Lion statue at the entrance wall and a beautiful large entrance door, etc. If friends want to see more photos can see at post part 1 this morning.
Brief history of this temple.
✍️ Wat Si Dong Yen is another old temple in Chai Prakan District that is 85 years old. Maybe it's not very old and doesn't have a long history. But it is a famous temple in this area. This temple was built in 1937 A.D. And this temple is regarded as a model developed temple.
