It was a Sunday afternoon near Grand Lake, the Grand Residence in Bekasi. The day was warm with light sunlight. For the last few days, there was a lot of rain in the afternoon, but today there was no rain. Many people usually go out on sunny days.
On the side of the street near the lake, there are small coffee shops ( warung kopi). There are always visitors at the weekend when there is no rain. People were enjoying the day with their friends for free wifi.
There were hundreds of motorcycles parked in front of warung kopi. They spent a lot of time sitting and playing with their handphone. The owners of the warung kopi provide with free wifi for their customers. That is one reason why this coffee shop is always full on the weekends.
In front of the warung kopi, there is a game for kids. There are also traditional food vendors.
After the pandemic, people are free to hang out now. There are no restrictions on getting social. That is good for small food sellers. The sellers will earn good sales because there are many visitors to the area.
I walked around the lake. On the other hand, there were many people sitting on the side of the lake. They talked with their friends and enjoyed selfies on their mobile phone.
It is a great day. People can enjoy the bright weather. That is life after the pandemic. Though some visitors still wore masks, most of them were unmasked. How is life in your country and your area?
