Since becoming a Mom I rarely catch up on time. Might be in meet ups, current trends, updates etc. I am always behind just like now, Valentine's day is over but I will be sharing about it now 🤣.
As some of you know, we are back in the old routine just me and my son at home. How to celebrate valentines then?
At first I was thinking of ordering food online but changed my mind afterwards. Why not go out and have dinner with my toddler in local restaurants here? Yes, it was not easy to take him out alone but I wanted him to get used to it.
When we left home, even though the sky was gray it wasn't raining. Thus, while we were walking, rain started to drizzle. That left me with no choice but to pay for a public ride (tricycle) even if it was only approximately a ten minutes walk.
Arriving, I saw that the restaurant was full and a few groups were waiting outside. I went in so I could tell the staff we are willing to wait.
Luckily, there was an available table for two!
After ordering, we sat on our table.
And here is Caleb, picking the decors 🤣. Good thing it was attached well so he eventually lost interest and stopped.
Most of the time, he wouldn't sit still and wanted to walk around. This time, I was surprised he stayed!
but wanted to stand at the table!🤣
Most of the diners are either family in a group or couples. It was only me who was with a toddler.
Yet it was fine as I was used to it. Remember back in the days where I went to Doctor's appointments alone? It was from the beginning of my pregnancy until eight months.
So now, it was no longer new. At first I felt sad but now? Only a little, better to accept the situation and look at the bright side of life.
Finally, our order was served.
Now, I was thinking if my son and I could finish this all!
And my son's favorite! Dipping the fries in gravy as he doesn't like ketchup. Though more on dipping his fingers, terrorizing my food.
And look those chubby fingers!
And the owner asked if she could take a photo of us to be posted on their FB page.
And here was our Valentine pictures.
Afterwards, we continued eating and decided to take out the pizza as I was already full.
It was still raining when we left so I needed to carry my son with a box of pizza on the other hand and also an umbrella. Now, I was thinking why did I decide to go out even with the chances it would rain? 🤣.
This past weeks, I've been thinking what to do in life aside from taking care of my son. How to earn money while staying at home. Then I thought of, should I try affiliate? Still I am not yet sure but if you have an account in shoppee, can you please follow mine.?
