As our son Caleb is growing, he also started getting aware and able to distinguish his likes. One of those is getting fascinated with cars, toys and bigger one he could ride like we bought here.
It was a random day when the husband and I decided to visit the nearest furniture display from our home. We wanted to check, canvas and maybe had an idea about what divider to install between the living room and dining area.
Thus before leaving home, I let our son have snacks first. Slice fruits as he likes and of course it is messy and takes a lot of time before we are done.
This was a month ago and it is getting messier now especially because there are a lot of distractions and on-going teething stages.
Since there was no traffic, after a few minutes we arrived at the mall. Yet, we realized that everything in the showroom was too expensive for us and none we could afford . However, we decided to go to the other side of the department store etc just to walk around.
This is also I realized I am definitely in a married life as Home section- checking floor mats, beddings and other essentials become my favorite.
BUT as Caleb was walking around we passed by here!
OH NO!
He saw a motor design car toy and he badly wanted it. To the point he was that fast and the next thing was he climbed at the rack. Even wanted to have a RIDE!
His Daddy was at the other side of the store checking out something so it was only us. Good thing after some coaxing, he didn't cry of tantrums though still struggling in my arms.
It cost $35 and maybe if we hadn't bought him a toy the other day, then we would be buying this. His Daddy was reluctant and on the verge of saying YES but I was firm NOT TO! He could not ride both at the same time right? Besides, as much as possible I don't want to spoil him.
I am supposed to buy some personal things but Caleb was so energetic and won't even stay still in the cart. We almost hit an old guy. When I asked an apology he just said;
Na, it's fine, toddlers are like that and I find happiness in that kind of chaoticness.
At the end, I let my husband pay for our purchases while Caleb and I grab some food outside.
Fried noodles and siomai somehow makes our toddler stay still. One thing he got from my family is the love of eating pancit! This is one of the foods he never gets tired of eating .
What did I got for him instead?
Here, he was busy sweeping our floor and yes, he loved it .
