I’m lost with my thoughts, and I can’t escape with my doubts, full of “what if’s” and bothered by the things that will come.
The feeling of waiting for something that our hearts mainly desire is one of the reasons why we are urged to work and strive harder. Living with dreams and pushing with our goals is why we never stop pursuing things ahead. We are all optimistic about reaching our plans because of the thought that it will be good, and that’s what we need for our lives.
Waiting means the action of staying or delaying action until something else happens. But sometimes you cannot hide the feeling when you feel that the things that you want in life take too long for you to wait, and the sense that it seems like it will never happen, the reason for your doubts that makes waiting frustrating, and the unending what-ifs make you worry the whole time.
If you truly surrender to the Lord the things you are waiting for and the moments you are waiting for, you need to stay with faith. If you prayed it all to the Lord but still worry and doubts ruin your mind and heart, it’s not waiting with confidence.
God sometimes delays things and makes you stay for so long because you have lacked patience, and you are not truly trusting in what God can make. Faith indicates you hold complete trust or confidence in someone or something. So if you have faith in the things you surrendered to God, you don’t have to worry anymore, and you have no doubts about what God can make. Waiting is a test of your patience and how much you believe in the possibilities that God can give.
Wait with faith that God is in control of everything. Believe that God can make all things that seem impossible. God is more remarkable for everything that we planned. Maybe you’re waiting because God wants to teach you how the Kingdom serves. God always has a purpose for allowing time to pass before fulfilling his words and promises.
He’s sometimes preparing us for the dreams that we want and mostly what we need, and seeing that we deserve what he prepared for us. Enjoy the little moments you have every day, be grateful because every morning is God’s gift to give us hope. Waiting encourages you to appreciate God and everything that surrounds you. It helps place everything in proper perspective.
Waiting for too long should not be the reason to give up, but instead empowers you to think more progressively and creatively. Waiting empowers you to survive when life is not progressing your way. God’s timing is perfect. Trust His ways and pray hard. Everything that we wait for is all worth it in God’s perfect time. And if we believe, God will give us more than what we deserve. Wait with patience. Stay with faith!
