It's a great day today-- Monday is the first day of the week wherein a lot of work or tasks were to be done once stepped in the classroom.
I often arrived earlier than the students to prepare my lessons, presentations of my class and facilitate students' in cleaning the classroom.The first hour in the morning seemed to be the most productive hour for me, because I'm focused to a lot of things most especially the subjects I'm handling in..
And then most of the time,I'm busy teaching students,letting them explore and shaping one's mind through giving them varied tasks to do.
I'm a teacher who's job is to encourage learners to show of their potentials,and motivate them to be confident in participating and performing every tasks given..I also advised the students to join and worked through their team mates..
When every quarter was successfully done,I also meet parents and asked them to attend school conference,informed them of the learners progress and weakness.Shared to them ideas,and come out with some plans for the betterment of each learners.
And when I'm not inside the classroom, I'm beyond extending some help and reaching out some of my learners who were losing some interest in their studies,home visited them and encouraged them ato be in school again.
There were also some days,after class I developed myself professionally through attending meetings and participated in becoming a facilitator during sessions
And then there were some days I've got tired and exhausted too..teaching is a very demanding job..it's a multitasking job..
I just paused for a while feel the exhaustion and brought back myself again to work...
And then there were days I reflected after the day's work..How amazing it was to performed such multifaceted roles,balancing everything from preparing and delivering the lessons to managing the classroom,and listening to learners concerns,motivating them,resolve conflicts and issues,teaching them empathy and all..Roles of the teacher is dynamic,it's a never ending cycle kind of work..
Still a grateful teacher until today,for 12 years in service,happy and enjoying serving the learners..
