Hello everyone I just wanted to share a lot of discoveries for today during the launching of space time events here in our school..it's my first time to witness such beautiful exhibit organized by the Science department.
After my class,I was once invited by my colleagues to witness the career talk of a Filipina space biologist and aspiring astronaut from Cebu, Philippines.I met Ms.Pauli Basubas,a very humble and down to earth person,career driven and her talked was almost full of so much inspiration,it's all worth to have her in this kind of event.
Such an overwhelming feeling of joy to hear some insights from a notable person who work in synthetic biology and space experiments.
Yay,been a fond of this Pauli Basubas now....what an amazing journey she had before she reached her dreams..
Next Space-time events was were being focus on the different exhibits on robotics.. The AI robotics was a very great innovation of today..
It's very fun to witness robots that can recognized speech and gestures and much more than that they interact naturally with humans.Theyre being programmed to do actions or any movements..What a very great innovation..
Because of computer vision robots can recognize objects and understand language which are visible in their environment..
And in the next Space-time events was I find it interesting to discover more about rocks and minerals..the collection of variety of rocks and minerals was awesome..
There were also different types of sand collected in different types of beaches in different places in the Philippines.You can compare the texture of the different beaches,some has a fine sand and others were composed of larger grains..
This were some of the animals that's being preserved,it's body and skin were being preserved to create a lifelike display of animals.
I've also been able to witness a lot of animals undergo preservation and it's called taxidermy.. I thought it has a life because watching it from a distant seemed like its real and alive..
And lastly was being inside the spacedome was a feeling I will never forget..I felt like an astronaut for a short period of time..it's one of a kind being inside in this spacedome..
It was one of a kind experience being inside the spacedome for 30 minutes...it's like you're in space travelling around..
Indeed a very mystical experience discovering the beauty of what is it like when traveling in an outer space..These would be all for now and see you in my next blog journey..Bye😍👏🏽👋🏽👋🏽
