Hello ππ½ππ½I'm back after being rested for how many days because of my asthma that just keep coming back and I needed so much rest for a while and be relaxed..So here I am today sharing to you another cooking snacks recipe that I'm fond of making to treat my little kid ..this is her favorite snacks requested this afternoon...and it's called TWISTY FRIED BREAD
This is my second time making this but I think I didn't made it so perfectly this timeπI still need to enhance my skills in forming the dough..
So here are the ingredients I'm using..
2 1/2 cups of all purpose flour
2 tbsp of white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp melted butter
1pc of medium sized egg
2 1/4 tsp
3/4 cup of evap milk
Oil for frying
White Sugar for coating
Here are the simple steps you're gonna do to make it tastier..
Combine all the dry ingredients and make sure to sift it first..
In a bowl,combine the flour,sugar and salt..Mixed it thoroughly..
In a glass of milk, activate the yeast by stirring it and let it sit for 5 minutes..
This time add the yeast mixture in a dry ingredients and start kneading it until smooth and elastic..
It it's too sticky you can add or sprinkle a little flour..
Washed thoroughly your hands or you can use plastic gloves when start to knead the flour..
So in a plastic plate or in a bowl, cover your dough and let it rise for 1 hour or until the size is doubled..
There you go...though I had a hard time making this dough..but it's all worth the effort to see after its being risen..
Once the dough will rise or doubled its size..Make a one Punch down and knead briefly the dough..Using the dough cutter, divide it into a small roll/balls and start twisting it forming into small ropes..
I had a hard time twisting the doughπ so here's my unfiltered output of it..
There's some that were luckily formed and there's not..
Another minute will be given to let this twisted bread rise and become puffy..
So it's rising..and it's ready to be cooked..I just prepared the pan with oil and see to it that it's being cooked in a medium heat..
Fry the twist on each side or checked if it's already golden brown ..
Looked at how happy I am seeing my not so perfect twisted bread π
But fortunately I've got the perfect taste π
So I started to coat it with sugar..and looked who's my fist customer of the day--- it's my daughter π
And I'm the happiest that she find it delicious and tasty π..though it take so much effort kneading the dough but after all it's all worth the knead..
This would be all for now..and see you next time πππ«°π½
