Good morning, my wonderful friends here on Asean.Hive. It is another wonderful Sunday.

There is a restaurant here in Miri that is called the Brunei Ayamku. I was hungry and searching for some food when I came across this restaurant. The lights glow in a slight blue light.

As I walked into the restaurant, I noticed that they offered a wide variety of food options. This shop is unique in a way.

So, how do you order here at this shop? You get to choose the different types of food you want, and pick the wooden stick, which you will later bring to the counter to order.

There are so many different types of delicious delicacies here in this restaurant.

My favourite is definitely the egg yolk bun. The salted custard egg yolk bun usually when you bite into it, the soft filling flows out while it is still hot. Delicious if you ask me.

On the wall, are lots of pictures and photographs of Brunei Darussalam. Brunei is Miri's close neighbour so a lot of Bruneians come to Miri during the weekends and on weekdays too.

The dim sum food warming area. This is where all the dim sum are warmed before being served to the customers.

Not many customers at the restaurant. So, it was a nice quiet environment for me and my wife.

A picture of a mosque in Brunei. That is one of the most famous mosque in Brunei. There are rumors that the dome of most of the mosque in Brunei are made of pure gold.

Something to cool down the body and get a bit of hydration.

A cup of coffee with milk. My type of coffee is definitely the type of coffee with milk. Anytime, anyday. Some caffeine to get the body circulation flowing.

And so after a bit of waiting. This is the Nasi Katok - this is affordable. It is only around Rm 3.50 or 1 Brunei dollars. This rice used to be served by housewives who go from one house to another to sell knocking on the doors.
