Hidden gem 💎 in the city. I drove here all the way from the city. The road up here was pretty confusing. No road signs and initially, I thought I was lost but luckily I still managed to find this place. Such a beautiful temple hidden high up the mountains.
The cable car city of Hatyai

Initially, one of our plan was to take the cable car up here but we then found out that it wasn't running at all. So I had to find another way to drive all the way up here. I asked the lady at the counter when the cable car that came up here operated again and the answer was that they had no idea too.
Next to this station is a small walkway that leads up to this temple.
The elephant

An elephant with three heads. The iconic sculpture that you'll see when you visit this temple.
The best view

This temple is located high up on the hills and there are a couple of temples here.
Some nice motorbikes

I wonder how they actually rode all the way up here. It took me a while to drive up here with a car. Along steep narrow roads.

Behind this elephant sculpture is a flight of steps that leads to the main temple.

Deities.

The four faced buddha

Here you can get some blessings as you pay for the dance. Each dancer is 300 baht for each dancer.
The dancer

The traditional dancer
Dancers here are dance in sync with each other to the tune. I just stood there enjoying the dance.

So many elephants

The breathtaking view

The best thing up here is definitely the view. It is spectacular. I love looking at nature.
The cable car

that wasn't operating at that point of time. The lady at the counter did not have any idea when it would become operational again. I went and asked them.
That's how high this place is and how beautiful the view would have been if I had been able to take the cable car up here.

This elephant has a secret.

Look carefully and see if you can spot something. Hope that you enjoyed reading this post and look at the pictures. This was the last day that I was going to be in Hat Yai and a day later, I was heading back to Malaysia.
