It is the day that I fly back to Kuala Lumpur and spend a night in Kuala Lumpur before heading back to Miri.
My wife is in a picture before we check out of the hotel. One of my habits whenever I stay at any hotel is to make sure that it is almost as clean as they day I checked in.
The other reason for doing this is that I can easily check if I missed out anything in the room or not.
The last time I visited Hong Kong, which was more than a decade ago, it was a small room that I shared with my dad and sis. I had to sleep on the same bed with my dad at that time, for a couple of days, I was in Hong Kong. But, surprisingly, my wife found this hotel, which is huge, and it provides complimentary breakfast. Saved a lot of money on breakfast. Food can be expensive here.
Her Disneyland souvenirs hang on her bag. The Key Charms. This is her vacation bag..
The view for the week I spent here. I wanted to see if there were any workers, but I did not see anyone working on these bamboo scaffoldings.
The Hong Kong and China flag side by side.
Some paintings here.
The Bianchi Cafe
Every morning when I woke up, this was the first place I visited. It is the Bianchi cafe. The buffet here is a free flow of buns, anchor butter, coffee, hard boiled eggs, cereal. Quite the luxury if you ask me.
The area where you could boil water. I did not boil water here because there are loads of water dispenser around the city. So not needed at all.
The clean toilet. This is a nice toilet from my view.
The little fridge. Even though it is a small fridge. Well appreciated as I bought cake and some dessert which I stored inside for a couple of days before eating.
The view from the 16th floor. At times, I could see some senior citizens doing some light exercises here. He was just happy doing it. Hong Kong has one of the highest life expantancy in the world.
After we checked out of the hotel, we went to a nearby dim sum restaurnt which was nearby out hotel but did not eat in till this last day. So, why not.
My wife
We were always sharing our tables in Hong Kong. Got used to it in a while.
It's me and my new friend. I don't usually take a lot of photos these days, maybe I just appreciate sharing stuff to the world. Next to me is a guy who is a friend of the person in front of him.
After that, we went on the bus and one really unexpected thing that happened was I left one of my bags at the dim sum shop so I had to go back to get it which is quite tough in Hong Kong even for a short narrow stretch of road. Otherwise, this trip would have been perfect.
Will be sharing more of that in the next post.
Have a wonderful day ahead.
