Today, I am going to be posting about a special Durian that is available here in Miri. This is one of the best local Durians.
Durian Uka
Smaller in size and grown in the forest of the tropical rainforest. These durians are slightly bigger than the palm. Being that small, it has lots of surprises hidden in the fruit. It is easy to open as compared to other durians.

What do they taste like? Creamy and a bit of the cheese texture.
When you open each chamber, you will see lots of fruits inside. The flesh is not that thick.
I bought four Uka durians and it filled a whole entire bowl. I usually, put the fruits in a bowl and spend my time eating them in front of a movie.
This is the special knife you must use to pry open any durians.
It is shorter than most knives and it makes it easy to pry open the durian shell like butter.
Two durians I bought
These durians are not the same as other durians. You can drink coffee while you eat these durians. Usually, you can't do that with other durians or else your body overheats and you will feel unwell. I've been there. It felt terrible.
If you love eating durians, these look amazing. They do really do taste amazing. Like cheese.
These durians have minimal smell. If you want to bring durians into any hotels, one tip is to remove all the smell, put the fruits into a container and you will have no smell. Safe to bring anywhere.
