Good morning, all my wonderful friends here at Hive. This grocery store has a unique concept, and that is, they have a wholesale section that sells boxes of things you want at wholesale prices. This place has the same design as a supermarket in Thailand that I went to when I was in Thailand a couple of years ago.
Today, I am going to bring you on a short tour of a new place here in Miri.
Lots of items stack on the shelves.
So many different types of biscuits on the shelves. There are lots of items to choose from here.
There are lots of different Pocky to choose from here. So many different flavours too. These are stick biscuits with different flavours.
Here, they have been stacked quite neatly and cleanly.
Lots of tropical fruits - Pineapples.
These are locally grown here in Sarawak. There are some already cut pineapples in the fridge that you can buy too here. Quite sweet.
Some of the frozen food is here at the supermarket. One of the things I noticed about this particular store is that the prices of a lot of things here are much cheaper than a lot of other supermarkets here.
They have a huge selections of items.

They also have some instant noodles that are quite cool looking with some cool faces on it.
There is also a lot of rice here that is sold that is grown here in Sarawak. We love our rice and take our rice quite seriously.
There is also a cat brand rice that is for sale. Would you give this a try? The cat brand rice?
The butter and margarine selection here. I usually go for the olive oil spread and usually buy some cheddar cheese slice to put on my bread.
