Sarawak layered cake
These cakes are steamed layer by layer. It is Chinese New Year soon, so we bought these cake for the guest. These cakes cost more than the usual cakes because of the effort that is usually used to make them.
A container of a different variety of cakes
The first row are cakes filled with chocolate bars. Cheese fillings. The next row are cheese cakes. The one that has a darker shade of green are minty cakes.
It comes in blocks

The uneaten cakes are best kept in the freezer. Frozen.

These cakes melt in the mouth like ice cream.
The colours of these are metallic green. These cakes are steamed layer by layer. It takes a couple of hours just to make one.
The locals here love making food. These are not manufactured at factories. I've tasted factory made Malaysian layered cake and they taste processed.

Chocolate Nutella cake
The is my favourite. Only don't eat too much of it. Wahaha.. It is the combination of everything that satisfies any sweet tooth. Be prepared for the small cuts.
After these blocks are cut into smaller blocks
Each layer takes approximately 20 minutes to steam. This cake is done layer by layer. The ones who makes it has to understand the taste.
Nutella chocolate cake
Super delicious. But just too delicious that by no time, you'll be eating the whole block. It is a blend of ice cream and cheese cake. Tourist usually come to Sarawak to buy these cakes.
