One of my our (my wife and I) hobbies is vacuuming. My wife loves to vacuum. I love to clean. Today, I am going to introduce to you a vacuum that is not Dyson. It is from a local brand "DIY Vacuum". Is it good?
I spend a lot of time throughout my life cleaning. Cleaning my toilet, washing plates, sorting out stuff to bring to the recycling centre.
It it Friday. The busiest time of the week for me till Sunday. I am and today I am going to introduce to you my new housekeeping toy.
THE DIY VACUUM CLEANER
The main component. Quite light and easy to clean. Easy to clean. All the dust that goes the container. Just open the hatch to have everything removed. This is a dry vacuum.
The Box
Cost USD 33 / MYR 139.90
Comes with a one year 1 to 1 exchange warranty.
The components
Dust cleaner head, scrapper head and broom head. For different use cases. One thing to look for when buying a vacuum is to look at its suction power. Vacuums that have low suction powers are pretty dismal in performance. I've had low suction powered vacuums and the before and after stain scene looks pretty much the same. It feels like a DIY vacuum cleaner that could have been made at home with a plastic casing.
This is what the main suction component looks like. It is wired. From feedbacks I've gotten from cleaning enthusiast. Battery operated vacuum usually do not last and have lower suction capabilities. Yes, before buying this vacuum, we (my wife and I) did lots of research. Vacuums are essential. Hairs, dust, food bits, dead arachnids, exoskeleton remains of insects are what is not wanted on the floor.
Dust Mites love keratin. Sometimes, after some nail cutting, nail clippings fly off to somewhere far into the infinite universe. Dust Mites eat them as food as well as dead skin cell. The microworld that is invincible to our eyes.
The handle of the vacuum is like a gun's handle. Making it feel like a game. Spider webs, no problems. Corner alleyways beside the closet, no problem. Car's insides, not a problem as well.
Modern design. A copy of Dyson. Ever since Dyson came out, most vacuum companies copy its design.
ON OFF BUTTON
Located on the top of the vacuum is the switch for easy access. The sides have holes to allow for heat dissipation. Vacuums have very powerful motors inside which releases a lot of heat.
The scraper head
So far, I've not used this yet. Just the dush head and the main sweeping head is useful enough to get things done. This is a vacuum from MR DIY. A startup in Malaysia that is also public listed on the Malaysian stock exchange and doing extremely well.
