Good Morning, all my wonderful friends.
The whole week in Hong Kong has been wonderful.
One more night before heading back to Kuala Lumpur and then finally to Miri, Sarawak. So, I spent a bit of time roaming around the city.
Lots of buses are still moving around the city late in the evening. There are a lot of things to do in Hong Kong, and I did not get to explore everything in this city. I guess it is best to leave it for the next trip here.
Life in the big city. I saw some older folks here who have a very sad life. This is the staircase up to his room, and I peeked up and noticed that the upper floors had no lights.
This entrance was not secured. Other residential places have this security lock to deter people from walking up.
Lots of double-decker buses that are easy to hop on with your Octopus card. I had mine on my phone for that easy tap at most stations here in Hong Kong, as well as on buses.
The main road around Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon. I stayed the whole week at Yau Ma Tei, so this was the last night to just walk around the city to have a look at what the city still has to offer.
The city is safe.
This is the station that I usually go to every day to other parts of the city.
The first storey is usually where business is as usual, from the restaurants to the pharmacies and gift shops. The upper floors have some businesses, but not a lot. Then, the upper floors are residential areas for the locals to stay.
The luggage is full of snacks and souvenirs. We had a lot of our clothes already washed at the nearby laundry before heading back to Kuala Lumpur, just to make sure that we did not want to bring a lot of dirty laundry.
Will be coming to Hong Kong again.
Half a day left in Hong Kong. Time to get a good night's sleep.
Have a great day.
Thank you for reading my post.
