One of the most popular traditional afternoon street snack here, they opens from 12-5pm here in my hometown is the sesame ball and a star traditional cake. Whenever I take a walk or riding motor along the streets, the was pleasure by the aroma of these snacks, really bring delicious affect to everyone who passes by.
As I walk along, my friends often message me,we just meet up at the school and we go back home as individuals, and she immediately place their orders for these scrumptious snacks as I share the photo with them in a group chat. It's always an excited for me to be able to share the experience with them and bring a taste of our local cuisine to their doorstep.
The sesame balls are an absolute the greatest snacks to behold. Freshly taken out from the frying, they glisten golden-brown, I love the new smell and the bite is pretty much better. Their shape is perfect, just like a ball, and their texture is slightly crispy on the outside, while maintaining a soft and chewy interior.
Biting into one of these sesame balls is truly a good moment for me. The savory filling that awaits inside is hot and so surprise. Nestled within the crispy exterior, you'll find a delicious combination of egg and pork, perfectly complementing the nutty flavor of the sesame seeds.
Since I was young this snack had been my all time favorite, I usually saw them a lot on social media in abroad like Thailand but I do not know what the inside is like.
