Good day hivers around the universe! Yehey! I'm back from undescribable stress that even an inch of myself can't define anymore. I've been on a hiatus for more than a month now. Yes, because of the preparation for the face-to-face classes. That photo was the aftermath of so much hard work. I even go home late at night to finish my goal for the day. She looks okay. However, deep inside just started to recharge and regain the energy.
So much talking about my prepping days for face-to-face classes, I was able to have fun during Valentine's Day celebrated at school and the late Sinulog Festival celebration in February. Here's what happened.
Before Valentine's Day, kinds of stuff bumped into my mind. I asked help from my colleagues to surprise my husband using her car and make a poem. Yes, I started it; sad to say it didn't finish it anytime soon. Here's how I've done it but not done. wahahaha.What?
Eternity
Stars gazed at the night
Like my heart's love so bright
Flashing back old-good memories
Stealing my minds with complexity
How these feelings prayed for reality

Oh, what a blessed wife!
Plus my husband told me not to spend any centavo for the celebration. I was a bit upset about what he said, and I did not expect he would not want to be surprised this time.😢 And so I stopped everything I had planned. My colleague told me to use her car to surprise him, but I refused.
GOING TO WORK ON VALENTINE'S DAY - IT'S STILL A WORKING DAY, RIGHT?😂
It was a regular day for us. We did not even greet each other. In short, it was just like an ordinary day. On the same day, the teaching and non-teaching personnel also celebrated Sinulog Festival, in which three groups presented their Sinulog Dance. It was planned last January but postponed due to some activities, health break, and work from the home set-up. The Event Management Team planned and organized the flow of the program.
THE FLOW OF THE WHOLE EVENT
In the morning was the mass. After, was the lunch prepared by the assigned group of teachers. Those non - Catholics were not part of the dance. I am one of them. I just became an instant props woman in their presentation.😂 No offense, I always pay respect to each religious belief. After lunch, we proceed to the gymnasium to prepare for the dance presentation. Our school head invited our barangay captain and other stakeholders to the said event. Luckily, the (Parents and Teachers Association) PTA Vice President sponsored prized for the games after the presentation.
GAMES FOR LIFE
⭕HULA HOOP RELAY
Each group should compose of at least ten members. Just like the message relay game, the first member will be the one to pass the message until the last. So as this game. The hula-hoop passed from the first member up until the last. How? Well, it's just a matter of a good strategy. It's shown in the picture. The end member will be the one to go to the facilitator and show a sign they've done it. Did our group win? Of course not! Hahahaha. Our opponents were experts in that game. By the way, my husband was one of our opponents during this game.😂
🧾GROUP PAPER DANCE GAME
We participated in the other version of the usual paper dance game. As we all know, we do this individually. The facilitator made this differently. How do we do it? This time, we have to do it by group (green, red, and yellow) with at least eight members. The paper is approximately equivalent to the size of 3-5 long bond papers. When the music starts to play, we have to dance in a circular motion with the newspaper without folding it at first. When it stops, that's the time we step into that paper without touching our feet or feet on the floor. The group that violated will disqualify. After the first music, we then fold once the paper. In the third piece of music, the same time, the third fold was the hard part because the bond paper gets smaller; and is hard to step into it. Again, the best strategy is the most effective to win the game. Did we make it? Of course! 😂 We're happy we received 20 dollars or 1000 pesos for our group.
🍅🍬SPECIAL COUPLE GAME FOR VALENTINE'S DAY
We were supposed to end the game, but the sponsor requested to have a TOMATO DANCE. Since tomato is not available, so it was called the CANDY DANCE. There were supposed to be two couples. However, our colleagues requested to partner one single male teacher in our department (secondary) and a female teacher in the elementary department to participate in the said game. Happily, we are in total of three couples. The million-dollar question is, did we win? Another, of course, not! 😂 Guess who wins it? Please comment below. Hahaha!

Honestly, this day made us special: even if I didn't surprise my husband personally. We noticed that we just had fun and felt that game was for both of us. I thought I wouldn't enjoy that day. I was wrong. The unpredictable time and place made it so valuable.
