Hello Hiveians! How was your weekend and Halloween? Did you have a Halloween Party? Trick or treat? I am sure you spend your time or take advantage of acquiring worth remembering moments with your family and friends. May it be conducting a party, cooking food for the lost souls, going to the cemetery, or going somewhere worthy of treasure. This time, I have to share mine and, how did it go?
Last Thursday (October 27), heavy rains plummet from the dark clouds, like a crying lady vested for someone to ease her pain. Alert levels have been changing drastically; until Friday morning, our superior forwarded a message for class suspension due to the latter. With so much delectation that this is the start of a relaxing day, I did not notice I already acted like my students, celebrating.😂 Of course, I forwarded that news to them through our group chat as well. How did I start my no-work and rest days?
Study and Play
We were embracing our role (husband and I) as parents and teachers. Still, working, right? 😁 Why not? After all, we're always thinking of their welfare and (brain and emotional) development.
As young as 3 years old other children go to school already. In her case, we chose to let her do a little bit of homeschooling. Playing fun and educational games, then studies at her own pace. From throwing and catching the balls to reading bible stories, tracing lines, and coloring.
Mind Recalibration
On Saturday, I needed to fill in my repository (head) for some chunk of faith. I need it to refresh and organize my entire week. (Church Day).
The next day I had to stay home since vehicles started to pass swiftly. I should be extra careful nowadays since vehicular accidents are rampant in our place. Aside from that, our house is located along the road. While at the terrace, I thought of showing some value of what we have outside, what I see, and appreciating nature's offer. I took photos outside our house.
The first thing that caught my eyes and attention, my plants, haven't been given much attention after face-to-face classes start. Flowers bloom at their pace, stems grow bigger like they need more space to extend further, and the rain falls like it never wanted to stop giving.
After watching from the left, my eyes shifted to the fruit-bearing tree called papaya. Oh, ripe papaya, can I taste you?😂 This week or next month? Organic is the best, anyway. By the way, it's not ours, my sister-in-law's.
Suddenly, someone's coming from afar. Oh, my one and only, wearing a raincoat staring sweetly. Is he? ayeeeee.😂 What a happy pill.🥰
When he came in, my eyes stared at the center, left and right, with the vehicles passing to and fro, pondering what people's journey may be. What do you think?
A. A father rushing in to go home for his family?
B. A family gushing to visit their relative's lost soul in the cemetery?
C. A group of people spending time visiting other places, distressing?
Please, feel free to share yours.☺️
After that moment, my attention brought me to the back of our abode, where coconut trees stood sturdy. Dwarf Coconuts ready to plant multiply many times. Oh, what a blessed life!
My Musings
In life, what makes you the happiest is how you value and admire the simple things around you. Contentment is priceless and free. So, make use of it. Be blessed because you are blessed.🥰
Thank you for taking time to read my blog. I appreciate it. Have a good day friends.
