How are you hive friends?!
I hope you are in good health and happy.
Since few days ago I didn't activate the Grab Driver application because a friend of mine asked me to accompany him renovate a house. A rented house that seems to have been empty for a long time. I helped him paint the walls and make cement mortar to install ceramics. Some pretty tiring days.
It turns out that installing ceramics is not as easy as it seems. It takes calculation and accuracy so that the result looks good. There are several stages that I noticed when my friend installed floor tiles.
Take a measure of the height on the wall as a benchmark for the height of the floor tile installation.
Equalize all the height size limits according to the benchmarks that have been made using a small hose filled with water. My friend calls this process nimbang.
After that, determine the height of the floor tile installation according to the results of the weighing using a meter. Take a few centimeters down according to the desired height. Equalize the size for all sides of the wall.
Then use a rope or thread that is installed at every point that has been measured earlier as a benchmark for the height of the floor tile installation. My friend calls this process Narik Benang.
Do backfill if needed. This is done if the installation of floor tiles wants to be higher so as not to use a lot of cement mortar.
Then the ceramic installation process follows the thread as a benchmark that was made earlier so that the results are straight. Don't forget to use a waterpass so that the floor tiles that are installed are flat.
That's roughly the stages of installing floor tiles that my friend and I did. I purposely made a video just for documentation and story sweetening. And I also include some photos when installing and cutting floor tiles.
After Instalation
Here is my article on how to lay floor tiles. Hopefully this article can be useful for Hive friends.
