Hello everyone, how are you? Have you missed me? I haven't written here in a while. I've been preparing for a few things. I'm rethinking my life. I'm figuring out what I should stop doing and what I should start over. During my time off, I've been enjoying my life.
Oh yeah, I also want to share my story about returning to a fairly well-known cafe in my area. I reviewed it once, maybe in 2023. It's been a long time. The design is a mix of minimalism and traditional Javanese design.
I sat in the indoor air-conditioned room, with comfortable tables and chairs for working. There's quite a lot of open space. It seems some people really like rooms without air conditioning. By the way, there are very few air-conditioned rooms here. Even when I arrived, most of them were empty.
This place reminds me of the architecture of Yogyakarta and its surroundings. I don't have any plans to travel there this year. But next year, I have plans to go to Yogyakarta. Again, Yogyakarta feels like home, even though I'm bored of Bandung.
So, what did I eat while working? While I was having dinner, I enjoyed special fried rice and iced chocolate. Water: Cafes in Jakarta don't provide free water. After checking, the prices were above average. This is a drawback of cafes in Jakarta. You have to buy mineral water.
What about fried rice? This fried rice has quite a lot of toppings. There's chicken, meatballs, and egg. There's even a lot of spices. It's filling. What about the iced chocolate I bought? The iced chocolate here is quite thick and delicious. It's not instant chocolate mixed with sugar.
Actually, this place offers a wide variety of food, snacks, and drinks. They even have two types of drinks: coffee and non-coffee. The most popular is the coffee with milk. Almost everyone who comes here orders it.
This place offers quite complete facilities. I say complete because there's a prayer room for Muslims. In Jakarta, it's still rare to find cafes with prayer rooms. This is a plus point, which makes me want to visit again. That's all I can say about my visit. See you next time.
