All I want to be happy but my vein was refusing it. I was in my loneliness, tears and worries. Many things playing in my mind last December 31, 2022. I was afraid a certain thing may happened that day. I could not elaborate the reason and I deserved my privacy regarding this matter. But before the tick of the midnight in the Philippines, my heart pumped when I received a message out there. That was the key of my happiness! The angels were singing for that simple wish I wanted.
In 52 years of my existence, 2023 is the only New Year that I hold a New Year's Cake and one of my lucky color, orange as it was Carrot's Cake.
I made them laught with my actions.
Unknowingly,some of the #ofw friends had planned with party but not in specific venue. They talked to me that they would come to our house. I didn't refuse but later on, it was changed because of the employers who didn't allow their maid going to a little distance from their home. We were split in two groups. And I was the one who went out to one of the two groups near to my employer's house. I cooked biko and pansit and brought it to my employer sister's house, 10 minutes walk only.
We were being assembled at 11pm and we waited 1 hour to welcome the 12midnight of Saudi Arabia.
I am their mother figure, the oldest one and they were too young in their 30's and 20's. Whenever they have troubles, I am here for them.
*Eating time with my prayer before our New Year's first meal. I prayed for us all and I was too emotional. Besides, we enjoyed our year end party. We credit and thanks to our employers who allowed us to celebrate.
At Home
In the morning of January 01, 2023, I took picture for me to print and plan to send it to all my friends with greetings. I love it like there is true happiness ahead and I hope God will guide me and grant my simple wishes.
Caturday Update!
Not only me was celebrating the New Year's eve. The cats were also had celebration as I collected all the left over in our dinner.
Kitties were also happy and they are all growing fast and fat.
I was also giving foods/lentils amd water to the birds in the wimdow.
We all had a party, human and animals! I am thankful that they became a part of my 2022 surviving life.
