China Import and Export Fair or more famous as Canton Fair (at least in my region) is held twice every year. The first is around mid of April until early May and another by mid-October to early November. Canton Fair is dubbed as the oldest and largest trade fair in China. The one I attended was held in the Canton Fair Complex formerly known as the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center located on Pazhou Island, Guangzhou, People's Republic of China.
It’s not the first international fair I attended but it's by far the biggest in terms of the number of trade show participants/visitors, number of exhibitors, and total trade exhibition space. I was dumbfounded when I saw the building; it’s nowhere near the largest building here in Cebu that’s why it caught my attention beyond doubt. One particular part of the entire building that fascinated me was the curved steel design on each side of the building. My fascination led me (and another workmate) to sneak out a few minutes just to take a few shots with the design in our background. It looked sturdy and reliable. The entire time I was looking at it, I tried to imagine how they built it piece by piece. The photos I took might not even give justice to this state-of-the-art design. I just marveled while I was there.
