Earlier I went to Camp Phillips, Bukidnon to have a simple stroll around the evergreen football field. Little did I know that the Camp Phillips Fiesta Carnival is finally open.
When I passed by last time, the structure was still prepared, and the bazaar was still closed that is why I am so glad that it is now open. Every year, the most awaited part is the presence of the Carnival rides and bazaar.
Even from afar, I could see the rides. I have discovered that there are seven rides to try not to mention the Octopus ride, the Ferris Wheel, the Dinophant ride, the Horse Carousel, the roller coaster ride, the Genie ride, and the Space Lab.
The Octopus ride was so colorful. This was the first ride that I visited earlier. Since it is the first day, I have seen how excited many kids and adults are to ride on it. I could hear the loud shouts and screams whenever the Octopus ride got faster and it made me remember my experience.
Walking down memory lane, last year, I was able to ride this Octopus ride for the first time. My experience was so horrible yet very exciting. However, I swore to myself that I would never ride on it again because I felt I was falling.
After I went to the Octopus ride, I continued strolling around and saw how peaceful the Camp Phillips football field was. Here are some quick shots while I was walking through the lush scenery.
Adjacent to this portion, the Ferris wheel is found as well as other rides. But I saw that no one was riding because the operators were still preparing it.
I have also discovered earlier that the owners and operators of the rides were just living in the area at the mini houses near it. Most of them were not settlers of Bukidnon, so they just built a small shelter where they could dwell for a while until the Fiesta Carnival and Bazaar were closed.
I continued walking and I was so delighted to see many colorful rides. Most of them were good for kids since they were just moderate rides when it came to thrills and excitement.
I just passed by these rides and seemed no one was riding. Last year, I also tried riding on the Genie ride and the Dinophant. At the other portion, I was looking at the small crowd near the Space Lab.
I have seen how happy everyone is. Although the rides were so enticing, I was not in the mood to try them since I always wanted to ride them during the nighttime.
The dino elephant rides on the other side were not so busy. For how many years, these rides we have these rides have been coming over again, I have noticed a new ride that has never operated here before and it is the colorful horse carousels. It seemed new to me and I wanted to try it next time.
There was a small Sari-Sari Store beside the rides so it would be accessible for all. In the Philippines, it is a neighborhood convenience store that sells basic items. In this store, I have seen that most of the products sold here are snacks and soft drinks. But unlike the usual Sari-Sari Store, more items and basic household necessities are found.
Although it was gloomy, I went home with a happy heart. Next time, I am planning to visit the Fiesta Bazaar. I had a great time earlier and enjoyed the colorful scenery.
