Good morning all Ecency friends, wherever you are, before entering the new year, East Aceh was hit by very heavy rain, as a result of the rain soaking three villages in Birem Bayeun District, East Aceh, Aceh. Floods caused hundreds of residents to flee. The three villages that were flooded were Alue Sentang, Paya Tampan and Alue Gadeng 2. The flood level there varied from 20 cm to 125 cm.
Rain in East Aceh Regency caused river water to overflow so that it inundated residents, rice fields, and roads. around 19:45 there were 1,600 flood victims in Alue Sentang, 104 people in Paya Tampah, and 551 people in Alue Gadeng. They fled to a neighbor's house that was higher and meunasah, Floods also inundated roads, disrupting traffic flow. Local BPBD officers have been dispatched to the location and brought two boats.
