Yesterday, I arrived back home here in Leyte, Philippines. I go back home as I promised to my nephew that I will be present on his birthday. ❤️ He is expecting me to be home that's why I travel Friday night for me to be home on the day of his birthday celebration. Actually, my nephew is celebrating his 3rd birthday. But, it's his first birthday celebration at home after two years being stranded in Cebu due to covid-19.
Anyhow, when the ship is about to dock in Ormoc City port, my youngest brother message me that he is in Carigara that time to purchase a birthday cake. He told me that he gonna wait for me at the place of his girlfriend. He wanted me to accompany him in buying a birthday cake. Because, he is worried that the money he had will not be enough. 😁 He wanted me to rescue him in buying a cake. 😁 So, when we meet in the highway, we headed to the cake shop. We buy a cake that is more than the budgeted amount which is PHP 500.00 or 10usd. I top up the lacking amount. Because, the chocolate cake we purchase is worth PHP 699.00 for the big cake for a more slices to be served in the table. We got free sticky rice cup cakes for the cake we purchased. 😀
When we arrived home yesterday, everyone in the house are very busy preparing the foods to be shared with the family and relatives. I am surprised that our eldest brother and his daughters are there also. They are living away from our home, about 3 hours drive back home. They came home to celebrate with us.
I will continue the birthday preparation to the celebration. 🥰 As I arrived home, it's my nieces who are in the store entertaining customers. While the elders are cooking and preparing foods. My mother cooked spaghetti. My sister in law fried the hotdogs. When she's done frying hotdogs, my cousin arrange the hotdogs with marshmallows using a barbeque stick and the gf of our youngest brother fried the chicken. My father grilled fish and cooked the crabs. My brother cooked dinuguan. And what excite me more was the roasted pig. The roasted pig is the highlight of all the dishes available. 😀
Then, I helped decorating a simple birthday backdrop. It's not easy pasting those decorations in the wall. 😁 We are happy that we were able to have pictorial first before it drop off. 😁
My nephew is really happy celebrating his birthday especially that he have gifts from his godparents. He become more happy and excited when his aunt 
By the way, the superman shirt and short he is wearing is my gift to him. He likes it very much! 🥰
After the pictorial is blessings of the foods. Then, we sing a happy birthday song to my nephew, birthday wishes, candle blowing and the most exciting part is eating time! 😀😋
The birthday celebrant is really happy as well as everyone in the house. We are all happy and got full. 😁
In the afternoon, I initiated a ge for the kids. It is just an easy and simple guessing game. The questions are all related to the birthday celebrant just like what's his name, how old is he and more. The one who gonna answer will tap my nephew. The first who tap my nephew and guess the correct answer got a PHP 20.00 price or 0.36 USD as of current exchange rate. All kids were able to answer and all of them got the price that makes them really happy. 😁
After the guessing game, the kids had fun playing games also. When they get tired, my nephew opened his gifts. He is super duper happy of the gifts he had such as the gun and slipper. 😀
So far, the birthday celebration went well. The kids and the oldies were all happy. ❤️🎉
