Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏
Sometimes, we really don’t wait for the exact date to celebrate special moments. Just like what we did for my youngest brother, we decided to advance his birthday celebration. His actual birthday falls on a Monday, but since he was at home on Sunday and needed to go back to Tacloban that same evening, we chose to celebrate ahead of time. He’s still new at work, so his schedule is something he’s carefully adjusting to. Family time like this is precious, and we didn’t want to miss the chance to be together. ❤️
We were all so happy to celebrate his birthday early. What made it even more joyful was seeing my nephew so excited. He was very eager to sing the Happy Birthday song and blow the candle on the cake. As usual, he became part of the celebration. He always is. Every birthday, every simple gathering he’s there, happily blowing the candle together with his uncle. Moments like these may look small, but they are priceless memories for us as a family. ❤️
My youngest brother is now 29. Oh my, time really flies so fast. 🤭 I’m 10 years older than him, and honestly, it makes me realize that I’m not getting any younger either. Soon, I’ll be turning 40 already. But that’s okay. Aging is a blessing, and growing older while watching your younger siblings reach their dreams is something I’m truly grateful for. ❤️🙏
Anyway, this blog is not about me, it’s about our youngest brother. I’m genuinely happy and very proud of him. After many attempts of applying to different government agencies, after countless rejections and waiting, he finally made it. He is now part of the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG). A dream job, a uniformed service he has always wanted. ❤️ Seeing him reach this milestone reminds me that perseverance really pays off in God’s perfect time. 🙏
I’m also thankful that I’m home with my family. Being present during occasions like this means so much to me. I want to be there, to celebrate with them, and not miss moments that can never be repeated. ❤️🙏 Family gatherings don’t need to be grand. What matters most is that we are together. ☺️
We prepared a few simple dishes to enjoy on his birthday. Nothing fancy, just home-cooked meals made with love. We cooked a few recipes, shared stories, and laughed together. Special thanks to his girlfriend for helping make this celebration possible. Of course, thank you also to my elder sister and all the members of our family. Even if not everyone was physically present, the love was still deeply felt. ☺️❤️
By the way, this was my plate. 😅 I didn’t eat rice, but even without it, I was already too full. That’s how good the food was. 🤭 Sometimes, it’s not about how much we eat, but who we eat with. ☺️
Happy birthday again, my dear brother. May all your prayers and dreams come true. I’m always praying for your safety, strength, and success in this new journey. 🙏
Have a Blessed Wednesday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!
Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀
Everyday is worth to be grateful of!
Praying for the safety and wellness of all.
