On my day 2 vacation is like a mini family get together. 🤗
Before I proceed, you may check the Day 1 blog of my home sweet home vacation in Leyte, Philippines.
Day 2 at Home ❤️
It was early morning around 4am when my father wakes me up. He attend the first Holy Mass in town. He use his bike as his means of his transportation to town. It's about 3km from home to town. Biking is also a means of exercise for my father. He is now 73 years old. Praise God! 🙏❤️ The reason why I get home is to be present on my father's birthday. I gonna share that very special day on my next blog.
Anyways, let's continue on my day 2.
When my father wakes me up, I give him some money to buy foods for the day. He prepared his self to go to church. After, having coffee and getting ready, he started biking to town. his cook foods for us. Then, I go back to sleep. 😁
It was 6am when my mother wakes me also. Because, the pork meat I ordered is there already. So, I get up and fix the bed and myself. 😁 Then, I go out to get the pork meat I ordered and pay it.
It is my father who cook foods for us his love and happy family. 🙏🤗 Here is my father, sorry if he I'd not wearing a t-shirt. 😁 It is hot that's why he took off his shirt. 😁
While my father is preparing and cooking foods for us. My mother and I attended the Holy Mass in our village. It is my niece who is a sales lady in our little store.
After Mass, my father is still cooking as we arrive at home. He get some ingredients at the store such as soy sauce, cooking oil and others.
I got a chance to took some pictures because that time, my mother and I arrived from attending the Holy Mass.
Look how happy we are. I am with my father and mother in our little store. 🤗❤️
Few moments later, my younger brother with her gf and now his wife arrived home. Also, the gf my youngest brother arrived.
We enjoyed the foods that my father prepared. We had our mini get together. My father cooked pork soup. I missed the foods cook by my father. ❤️
When my father was done cooking, he take a rest at the backyard at our rest house near the seashore. He take a rest and had his lunch there together with his sister that arrived. ❤️ I wasn't able to take picture there because we become busy in our kitchen with my siblings and their girlfriends. 😁
We enjoyed the foods and had some chit chats together with my mother while we had our lunch. Then, we drink tuba, our locally red wine coconut drink. 😁
As we continue our mini get together, my brother cooked pop corn to be shared while we are drinking tuba. 😁
While we are having so much fun talking with the girls, we heard the sounds of the coming dirty ice cream vendor. So, we buy some and it eat while my brothers are not around. Only the girls eat the ice cream. 😂
By the way, after we eat out lunch it is me who wash the dishes before I join my family in drinking tuba. 😁😁
It was an enjoyable day with my family on the second day of my home vacation I will cherish and treasure all my life. ❤️
Before I end this blog, let me share to you the breakfast I had that day. I got a cup of coffee and had a sticky rice suman latik. 😋 My mother bought the Suman latik for me. 🤗
