It was afternoon and the rain poured down quite heavily, we heard a kitten meowing loudly near the house. My husband came out to check. There was this kitten somewhere in the corner near the gutter. Her position was a bit difficult, she was all soaked wet and cried for help.
My husband immediately rescued the kitten into the house and dried her with a towel, put her in a cardboard box and petted her to make it warmer. Then he went to a convenient store nearby to buy kitten food and milk to feed her.
After a while, she seemed to be more comfortable and started sticking with my husband. Since the beginning, it was him who did everything. He used to have cats and love them, although it was a long time ago.
What about me?
Basically I don't really into cats. Because I think they're annoying, spoiled, furs all over the house, and I don't like it when I have to clean their craps. I never thought about having a cat. Moreover, because our house is small, there's no yard, it's not possible to have a pet around. I only like cats in photos or videos.
But looking at her innocent-pitty face, my heart melts. ️
We don't know whose cat this is. We'll just have to wait and see tomorrow if there's someone (or her mom) looking for her. Meanwhile, maybe I should read the articles about what to do when we find kittens, like this and this.
For now, you stay here tonight, little buddy...
Good night, sleep tight!
Thank you for reading. Have a nice day!
