Hello everyone, how are you doing? I hope you are doing well. Today I want to show you pictures of my niece's wedding day. My brother has five children, three sons and two daughters, this is his first daughter married.
People in Cambodia usually have a two-day wedding ceremony. In the morning, there will be a procession for the bridegroom, a procession for the bride, and there will be many traditional and religious ceremonies throughout the day.
The parade was well attended and we were carrying fruits, vegetables and more.
Srey Yuu is holding flowers with my niece.
Usually a marriage consists of three male and three female companions.
After the parade, we took photos together.
The second wedding program is a free haircut to greet the bride and groom.
The third program is called Sen Handcuffs, in which the bride and groom are handcuffed for the glory and business of the newlyweds. Most people go to this show with a couple, but I go with my sister because my husband did not come with me. In this program, we have to get the yarn for the hands of the bride and groom and have money. But if there is no money, it is okay.
This is the 4th and 5th program and there are other programs that I did not take all the photos.
This is a program to tie hands and sprinkle flowers, which is done at 4:00 and 5:00 on the next day.
This is also the last program of the traditional wedding ceremony.
Then there is the reception at the dinner table. The party is usually eaten in the evening, but in the countryside it is eaten at noon 12:00. The program invites 70 tables, which could be 700 guests, to the wedding party.
After the reception, we counted the envelopes. Guests usually put $10 to $25 in the envelopes. Some or a small number of people also give more than $25.
