Greetings everyone from Angkor Wat in Siem Reap. I came here a few days ago to visit my sister and her daughter and her son. Yesterday I visited Angkor Wat again with my niece and her daughters and my niece from Pursat, .
While riding a motorcycle, we met two boys sitting in a park with their grandmother. These two boys are my sister's grandchildren from my sister's son. Therefore, they are also like my grandchildren. We stopped the motorbike and greeted each other and took photos for memories.
We arrived at Angkor Wat, or as we Cambodians like to call it, "small Angkor." This Angkor complex has so many temples inside. This picture was while we sat waiting for our niece, who was from Pursat province. She wants to wear traditional clothes to visit Angkor Wat.
Now that she is dressed, we begin to walk around and view the ancient temples of Cambodia.
This is a floating bridge that was only opened about two years ago, and the ancient bridge that we used to cross before is no longer allowed to cross.
Angkor Wat was built in the early 12th century by King Suryavarman II (1113-1150), dedicated to Vishnu at that time.
My Monkey-B and my granddaughter.
When I was taking pictures of my Monkey-B, Monkey saw a real monkey and she runs to visit it.
We enjoyed taking many pictures there, and we were tired also because this temple is so big. We need to relax four times so we can walk around the temple, but still can not walk everywhere.
Angkor Wat has so many Apsara figures on the walls of temple. Apsara is a representation of the fairy godmother.
I have visited this temple many times, but I have never reached the top of the temple.
On the walls of almost all the temples are Apsara and various statues. Most of the sculptures on the temple have different hairstyles and jewelry.
At the top of the temple is limited to 200 people because the temple is old.
This is my niece. She wanted to make hive too and ,
, and I help her to make a new account and teach her. I think she will make a first post soon.
The temple has the most sculptures on the wall, and the sculptures are carved from various stories of that time. I just took some pictures of sculptures.
I wanted to write more about stories of this temple but I donβt know more of English words.
I hope you enjoyed with my pictures and short stories. Have a great day everyone.
