Hello friends in today's blog I am going to tell you how we celebrated Mahashivratri today. Friends Mahashivratri festival is widely celebrated all over India today. It is said in the Shiva Purana texts that Lord Shankar and Mata Parvati got married on this day, Mahashivratri. And that is why Mahashivratri is widely celebrated today. Today, this festival is widely celebrated wherever there is a temple of Lord Sri Shankar in India. All the people of India go to the nearest temple of Lord Shri Shankar and have darshan of Lord Shri Shankar. Also a prayer is offered to Lord Shri Shankar to bring happiness, peace and satisfaction in everyone's life. Also in India this festival is celebrated in different ways in every state. This festival is celebrated in different ways in every state.
Also, people worship Lord Shri Shankar enthusiastically while celebrating this festival. Also, in some places, the temple of Lord Sri Shankar and Mother Parvati is also decorated in a big way using flowers and lighting on a large scale. Also, the marriage of Lord Shri Shankar and MATA Parvati is also performed by performing pooja in our traditional manner.
Today I also woke up in the morning after taking bath and did my full preparation and I also went for darshan in the temple of Lord Sri Shankar which is near to us. As today is the Mahashivratri festival, the temple was also crowded with devotees. Many people took their time and came to the temple to have darshan of Lord Shri Shankar. This temple of Lord Sri Shankara near us is a very old temple. The reservation work of this temple near us has been done by the government almost a year ago. Indeed friends went to the temple today and had darshan of Lord Shri Shankar. I felt a great deal of mental satisfaction today. Indeed friends today this festival of Mahashivratri was celebrated very well all over India. There are twelve Jyotirling mainly of Lord Sri Shankar in India. And at the place of these twelve Jyotirling, this festival is celebrated on a very large scale in every temple and many people take their time to participate in this festival and celebrate this festival. And celebrating this festival surely brings a lot of mental satisfaction to every person who participates in this festival. I also got the same mental satisfaction today. And really happy that today on this holy day of Mahashivratri, Lord Shri Shankar was seen in a very nice way. And indeed will tell friends one thing after seeing Lord Shri Shankar I felt that a different energy was created in the body. Really friends I am very happy to participate in these celebrations today.
Also friends today at my house also on the occasion of today's festival my brother also decorated the temple in our house with flowers in a very nice way. I have also taken pictures of it and I am sharing it with you too, really happy to see that they have decorated so amazingly and beautifully.
