Over the past few days, continuous rain has caused the water level to rise significantly in our area. Moreover, because there has been very little sunshine, as you can see, it has become difficult to harvest the paddy from the fields. The water level is increasing day by day due to the ongoing heavy rain. We are also quite worried about the ponds in front of our house.
We all know that storms, especially Kalbaishakhi storms, occur during the month of Boishakh. Sudden storms in this season are quite normal. However, over the past few days, the intensity of storms along with heavy rain and lightning has been extremely high.Because of this excessive rainfall,we are going through a difficult situation.As the water level has risen significantly,we are trying to collect fish from the ponds. If you watch my video, you will be able to see how we are harvesting the fish.There is a risk that the fish may escape due to the rising rainwater. That is why we have called local fishermen to help us catch the fish.
However, one positive thing is that compared to other districts in our country, our area has faced relatively less damage.Many places have been flooded, and various ponds and paddy fields have been washed away.In comparison, the damage here is somewhat lower.
