We have been planning for a boodle fight with friends and family over the weeks, but it seems to not getting aligned to our schedules and rest days from work. But recently, we have given a chance to finally make it happen.
It was an unexpected boodle fight at lunch time, so we only prepared a few dish. It was just an ordinary day and the weather was fine. Some of our friends and families took a day off from work, and that is when we saw an opportunity to have a feast at the river near us.
We decided to go to the market to buy some fish and vegetable for our viand, while the others cooked some rice. It was around 11:00 AM already, so we had to move quickly.
We only got two variants of fish, one for grilling and the other one are the small fishes cooked only with some vinegar and salt. And our favorite bamboo shoot with saluyot (Jute).
We only prepared some fish and vegetable as our viand since it was unplanned. After cooking and preparing everything we need, we went to the river that is just a few steps away from our houses. We grabbed some banana leaves to serve as our plates too!
Then, we started putting everything on the banana leaves. From the cooked rice up to the viand. We also brought some soy sauce on the side, some ordinary soup. It was indeed an unexpected and unplanned feast for lunch, but we surely enjoyed it all.
So, that's it for today. Thank you so much for reading.
See you on our next blog. Sending good vibes to everyone!
