Living in the province for years had been peaceful and calm. But there are days when we also need to run errands in the city. There are things that we need to update, especially our contributions and other responsibilities as citizens of our country. Of course, most of the offices are located in the city proper.
We travelled early to avoid traffic, but we still got stuck in it. There are already many vehicles lining up to pay tolls, both entering and exiting the city. We managed to get out of traffic just as we were done paying.
It was already late in the morning when we reached the city proper. The tall buildings and the busy streets are welcoming us. We also lived in the city for almost a year before, and we have seen the advantages and disadvantages of being here. But for today, we felt nostalgic about our city life.
We started processing the papers we needed to update. We left the offices late in the afternoon and checked in at our Airbnb. We will stay for the night and travel back home the next day. While we were in the city, we went for a walk and had dinner at Boni Avenue. Then, we walked home to take a rest.
Around 7:00 in the morning, we already hit the road back to the province. The sun is already up, and the streets are getting busy again. While on our way home, we cannot help but think we might go back to the city again once in a while.
So, that's it for today. Thank you so much for reading.
See you on our next blog. Sending good vibes to everyone!
