So, because I missed them so much and I hadn't seen them in years, I finally asked her if I could meet. And she immediately agreed! Yay!
Also, I also told another friend. So we agreed to meet in a mall park because it was a comfortable and clean place. I rode my motorcycle to the location because it was close. The exciting thing was, from the motorcycle parking lot, I had to go through a tunnel that connected directly to the mall. And you know what? I was the first to arrive. Ha ha ha. Doesn't that show how excited I was?
When I arrived at my destination, the mall and park were very crowded because it was the weekend. While waiting for the others to arrive, I wandered around the souvenir shops... I just wandered around and browsed. I found a cute duck doll, but why did it look like it was angry when I looked at it? LOL.
And being a Potterhead, I naturally stopped at a shelf displaying a small maroon bag with the train to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry written on it. A cute mini bag. Perfect for storing Floo Powder on the way to Diagon Alley, maybe?
After I was done wandering around, my friend told me she'd arrived and was waiting downstairs. I immediately went down to greet them. We hugged to relieve our longing. And you know, her beautiful daughter, Alunna, is so cute, friendly, and adorable.
Two more people joined us: Adang and his wife. You might be familiar with their children in my life, because they're my close friends. What was even more fun was that Adang brought me and Alunna books! I got a legendary book by the old author NH Dini, while Alunna got a ton of picture books for her age. How nice to have them in my life.
For the rest of the afternoon, we talked about many things as adults. While Alunna was happily playing in the park, making new friends, we adults shared news because many unexpected things happened: family, strangers, or lovers. Throughout my life, I've been fortunate that God sent them, and that we have each other.
At the end of the session, of course, we didn't forget to take a group photo, because you know... my other friend's house is very far away. It takes at least two hours total, from motorbike ride to train ride.
Thanks for reading my blog. See you in the next one.
Hi, I am the child of the universe, I like to read books with various genres. I was born in the city of batik but can't draw batik yet. I want to be a novelist, but my works are only short poems that are included in anthology books.
