I want to share a very special occasion with you. As my daughter and the other beautiful ladies celebrated the Flowers of May last Saturday.
Actually we were late in the church. The reason was also last year's event, we waited too long in the church. And we didn't bring any fans and water. But for this year we were ready as ever. In my previous blog post I said that I brought her a transparent umbrella with some Do it yourself jellyfish inspired design. And a fan with light.
Ria's make-up was made by her aunt. Her name was already called in the church, but she and Katsuki were still in the boat just heading back to the road while I was waiting for a tricycle. As we arrive in the church we headed to where my relatives are. I proudly took pictures of Ria, her godparents was also there. They also look happy seeing my child. While waiting they were given a chance to walk down through the aisle. They are four or five lovely kids that are late in that day. Last year it was raining and we actually finished late night at 22:30. So maybe that's the reason they started it early.
How proud I am to see walking, last year she needed us to help walk because of her large gown. But now she looks confident as ever.
Now she's heading back to our seat.
Last year I couldn't believe the support we got and I didn't expect that they will accompany us again. Dang-Dang even came with JJ and Mariel. My friends told Dang-Dang that she have joined, because she has a beautiful dress. Here's Dang-Dang and Ria last year.
And now they need to start the procession for the Virgin Mary. Look at the other beautiful ladies outside the church. This the only pictures we have because the weather is still extremely hot.
Katsuki loves taking pictures of Ria this way. The millennial called this aesthetic. The letter M is from the word Ave Maria. Ria role for that night. While walking the kids are holding each letter. She already had a long walk that's why she's already sitting on the floor.
This was the only photo I had, it was a long journey walking in the barrio. But it was a wonderful experience, they are looking at the beautiful maidens. It's like my dream really come true because of Ria.
Here is the gorgeous Reyna Elena that night. I love her unique beauty, the truth is I want Ria to represent this someday.
Because we live in the water, it will be hard for Ria to ride on a boat with her big gown. So in the waiting shed before our boat arrive we already took off her petticoat and change her clothes. She looks tired but really happy.
