It's been a while everybody. I missed writing here in hive specially here in I know everyone is fine and doing well. For my today's blog let me share the last activity of my kids before they have their vacation.
Every year our school celebrates Field Day or National Arts Month. It is one of the activities that many students look forward to because they get to show their talents, creativity, and teamwork. The boy besides Jeffria is her partner. This year was also special for my children because they both participated in the event.
My daughter Jeffria is in Grade 1, and their group wore red costumes with beautiful flower designs. When I first saw her wearing the outfit, I felt very proud. The costume looked simple but very attractive, and it really suited the theme of their performance. The children looked so cute while standing together on the stage. I could see how excited they were while waiting for their turn. And when they perform the teachers was all amazed.
When the results were announced, their group won the Best Costume. I was very happy for them because I know that their home room teacher and my co-parents put effort into preparing everything. Seeing our children smile and celebrate their small victory made the day even more memorable.
My son, who is in Grade 5, also joined the activity. Their group wore blue costumes and carried pom-poms for their performance. Even though their costume did not win, I could clearly see how much effort they put into their presentation. They practiced their routine and tried their best to perform well in front of everyone.
Watching both of my children participate in the event made me feel proud as a parent. It was not just about winning awards or being recognized. What made me happiest was seeing their confidence and excitement while they were performing. Activities like this help children express themselves and enjoy their time in school.
I also appreciate the teachers and the school for organizing events like this. These activities give students a chance to build memories with their classmates and experience something different from their daily lessons.
At the end of the day, we went home feeling tired but happy. For me, moments like this are very special. Seeing my children enjoy their school activities and do their best is already a big reward for me as a their mom..
