Hello ASEAN Buddies...
Lately, I've been looking for something light to do. I'm not stressed or looking for a copycat mechanism. I just want to do something new, something I've never done before, to fill my days. I actually found this activity while scrolling through an e-commerce app and discovered that it had cute and unique items. The price was also affordable, not much more than a cup of coffee at a fancy place, so I was convinced to buy it.
Actually, I'm not lacking in activities at all. In fact, I'm having a hard time managing my time. Sometimes I feel like 24 hours isn't enough to juggle office work, housework, writing fiction, writing my hive, and me time. So, the excuse of filling my free time isn't really a good one. So, I'm doing this activity simply because I want to. So, here's the activity: I bought a package of drywall that I had to color. Yes, coloring drywall.
I bought this plaster coloring kit with insect designs. I was thinking of cute insect shapes like ladybugs, butterflies, and dragonflies, so I bought the insect-shaped ones. Each purchase also comes with two brushes and a selection of common colors—which you can mix together to create other colors. Interesting, isn't it?
With this color chart, I can figure out which colors to mix. So far, there haven't been any colors that aren't on the color palette, but it's useful for other things, right? Okay, let's try coloring.
This plaster reminded me of the hatchi bee, so I chose it first. I remembered that this bee had a yellow base color, but I had to copy a photo of it from the internet.

Coloring like this is quite fun. I'm starting to get addicted to it. I even bought the other version, the one without insects, but I still have it and want to find some quiet time to color it. All the plaster in the photos I did every day, because you know I have to balance my time with other work. Apparently, coloring is not easy. As an adult, I used to think coloring was a trivial activity, but it turns out, it's also difficult to do because you have to know the technique in using your brush.
