My Studio Hotel at Kuala Namu

Hello good people on hive...

Sometimes you think you just need a little private space to stretch out, right? That's what I thought when I was returning to Jakarta some time ago. Usually, I choose to sleep at the airport, but this time I wanted to sleep in a bed, so I opted to book a cabin room at a hotel not far from the airport. The hotel also provided a shuttle—though it wasn't free.

It was My Hotel Studio. Actually, there were also full rooms, like suites or whatever they were called. Unfortunately, this hotel doesn't have an elevator, so when I found out the cabin room was on the top floor—the 4th floor, I was a bit surprised. So I didn't bring my suitcase upstairs. I only brought my valuables to sleep with.

This cabin reminded me of a cabin in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur. There were no women-only rooms. There were even cabins that could accommodate two people. I didn't even sleep well, afraid of the worst. But I had taken a risk. Luckily, I survived until check-out time.

I really like this lobby area. It has some beautiful seating that can be used as relaxed as possible. I even sat there and worked. It's open 24 hours, meaning there's someone on duty. It made me feel less anxious when it was already early morning and I was still working on my laptop.

This was one of the interesting experiences last year, when I had to travel alone. Usually, when I go to the airport, my family drives me. This time, I was alone. This My Studio Hotel was comfy...

Anyway... Hasta La Vista...
