Hello ASEAN Buddies...

Home is always something that makes anyone miss it. The smallest details in my house always seem unique. When I get home, I usually don't notice the smallest details or anything around the house because I'm too busy with work. But this time, I had more time to wander around and see something unique, one of which was my mother's plants.
The Begonia masoniana
Of all the flowers and plants my mom grows, this one caught my eye. From a distance, it looks ordinary. But up close, you'll notice its unique leaf texture. It's called Begonia Masoniana. I just Googled its name, LOL.
I'm not sure what this plant's purpose is, but my mother usually has a particular plant because of its uniqueness. It's clear where this plant's uniqueness lies. It lies in its rough-textured leaves. Isn't that fascinating? The leaves have developed a unique resistance to keep leaf-eating insects from making holes in them, thanks to their rough texture and sharp, fine hairs. Beautiful, isn't it?
The Aglaonema
This plant has become incredibly popular in recent years. Its popularity has even led some people to resort to stealing it from its owners. I thought that when the trend changed, my mother would forget about it. Apparently, she still has it. I just can't fathom how this plant holds such appeal.
The Orange Cat
This orange cat is not my mother's or mine. It is my neighbor's cat. This orange cat is an Angora breed—correct me if I'm wrong. He is a lazy cat, but has extraordinary beauty. His two sharp eyes, when glaring, make him very handsome. By the way, I don't know if he is male or female, but my neighbor named him Oni, I think he is male. Why I say he is lazy, because he just lies around. He doesn't even move. He is like a human who likes to be in his comfort zone.
The Yellow Hibiscus rosa-sinensis
Another equally beautiful flower in my mother's yard is the yellow hibiscus. When the sun shines brightly, its petals appear radiant. The yellow color is truly striking. At first glance, the texture of the petals is very similar to that of a hibiscus. The stems are also very long. Truly beautiful.
The Pagoda Flowers
I've never seen this plant before. I thought it was a needle flower. But looking at its structure, it's clearly a Pagoda flower, as its structure closely resembles that of a Pagoda. It's unique and beautiful with its red color. Its underdeveloped petals, with delicate stems, add to its uniqueness and beauty.
My Nephew
The toddler on the left is the reason I always miss home now. His little steps, big appetite, cute antics, and adorable chatter always make me want to go home. This year alone, I've been home twice just because of this little guy. And he loves to hijack my laptop to watch his favorite cartoons. Ha ha. He loves eating ground cherries—pictured on the far right. These ground cherries were planted in our yard so he could eat as much as he wanted.
So those are the little things I notice when I come home. It's so nice to notice the smallest details of a home you've been away from for so long.
What do you think?

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
