Who do I follow on ?
I follow only a small number of people so far. I have been a hiver for only a short time, about 2 months now. Having only ever used Facebook, and not very well, I'm still feeling my way around peakd. I learn something new about the functions available and how hives work every time I'm on it. I'm also slowly adding people to my 'following' list as I come across content I really enjoy.
There are 2 people I'd like to start with. is a source of information in alot of his posts. I know as a curator that is a part of his job but I think he goes above and beyond in terms of helpful posts to increase hivers knowledge of functions available. In saying that, I have yet to attempt making gifs. Even with step by step instructions and screenshots I still feel a little overwhelmed by the process. Tech savvy I am not.
also has a nice easy style of writing and presenting his days with his beautiful family. He talks of everyday life as a westerner in Cambodia which, for me, an aussie, is very interesting.
The other hiver who's posts I love is . He makes me laugh in every blog he posts. Whether it's an meal out, and let's face it, he's always eating out, a jog in the park or it's a rant, they are all well written and very entertaining. As a lover of food myself, the hardest thing is to make healthy choices to achieve fitness and weightloss goals. I applaud all his efforts. Even the blow-outs like 82 pints of Guinness amongst 5 people. It is actually quite commendable that he and his business associates were able to walk out of the restaurant. I get a chuckle out of his thinly veiled use of incorrect words to express his feelings of annoyance, such as the mother duckers who park their cars in ridiculous spots.
There are several other hivers I could mention but if this becomes a weekly feature then I need to keep some of you up my sleeve. I only post and read content in the aseanhive community so far but I have seen that many asean hivers post across other communities and I look forward to exploring more communities as I gain confidence.
Until next competition, Watusi Woman - follower of hivers, out.
