Today I made tulip flowers with colorful paper at home. I used to teach kindergarten kids how to make this colorful paper tulip flower. They also like to make flowers out of colored paper. This flower are easy and simple to do. But they are very beautiful for me. Let me start with materials needed to make this flower.
Materials-
- Color paper
- Scissors
- Glue and
- Ruler
I use colored paper in orange, purple, yellow, green and blue. The colored papers I use are around 15cm.
Step-1
First, fold the colored paper into a triangle in the middle. Fold the colored paper again in a triangular shape. Then put the colored paper originally.
Step-2
Fold the color paper into squares. Fold this colored paper into a square again. Then put the colored paper originally. You can see the lines on the color paper.
Step-3
Fold the color paper into 4 small triangles as shown in my picture. Then fold a small triangle in the middle, just like you did before. Fold the colored paper triangle again.
Step-4
Gently push one end of the triangle as shown in my picture and press it down.
You will get the form shown above.
Do the same for the other side of the remaining triangle. And then you get what I show you in the second picture.
Step-5
Fold two small triangles again. Fold the two triangles on the remaining opposite side. I think making this flower takes a lot of triangles.
Step-6
I'm going to send the folded side of the triangle inward. I'm going to send the folded side of the triangle inward.
Then fold two small triangles at the bottom of the colored paper. The same goes for the oppostie side.
Step-7
After folding the triangles, cut the bottom of the color paper a few with scissors.
Then you have a flower shape.
Once the flower is done, it is time to do stem and leaf it. For the stem, just roll the green colored paper. Attach the stem to the hole where the flower was cutted.
Step-8
The leaves are not difficult to make. Just fold the color paper into a triangle. Then glue the leaves to the stem.
Now I got some beautiful flowers. I decorated these paper flowers with some home-grown leaves. I think this is easy to do and beautiful. If you do not have color paper, you can use newspaper.
