Hello my loving Asean Hive community,
How are you all, friends? These days I talk about clay art, paper craft and DIY every day. Today I will not talk about it. Because today I have run out of color paper and clay. So today I went to the market and bought some of the color paper and clay I needed. In fact, I have not been in this market since the coup in our country. I just bought the things I needed at a market near my house. But today I went to the market in the middle of the town. And I took some pictures. Below are some of the pictures I took:
Now our country is nearing the beginning of summer. At this time, mangoes are beginning to appear in our country. But mangoes are still expensive now. Mangoes that appear after April are sweeter and cheaper. As soon as I entered the market, first I saw mangoes. Although there are many shops selling raw mangoes, I found only a few shops selling ripe mangoes. As I thought, ripe mangoes are very expensive right now. But when I photographed these ripe mangoes, I smell fresh mangoes.
My mother bought some lime at that ripe mangoes shop. So I also took some pictures of lime. Lime is just as expensive as ripe mangoes. Six limes cost 1000MMK in Myanmar and cost 0.56 USD in USD.
And I also saw some big papayas in that shop. I think these big papayas are used to make Thai Green Papaya Salad. Another fruit I found was the large yellow fruit shown above. These yellow fruits are more beautiful on the outside than I can see in the picture. And the fruit of color is brighter on the outside. At first I thought those fruits were pumpkins. Actually, it's not what I expected. These fruits are muskmelon.
Some of the pictures I showed above are of dry shrimps. How do shopkeeper sell dry shrimps in your country? In the country where I live, they sell as shown in the picture above. Shopkeepers often sell dry shrimps by size and quality. A can of milk in the picture costs 3,000 MMK and in USD 1.69 USD. Below are some of the other photos I took:
You can see a vendor in the image above. The vendor sells glutinous rice cakes. About four months ago I told them about glutinous rice cakes and vendor grandmothers used to sell those rice cakes. If you want to read more about it, you can read it at the link below.

The items I showed above are some of the items sold at a Chinese store. I wanted to take a lot of pictures of the store, but I could not because it was dark because of the power outage. Previously, any items purchase at this shop was 500 MMK. 500MMK is the same price as 0.28USD. But now, with the currency fluctuating, some things are going up in price. That's all for today. Tomorrow I will tell you about the items I bought at the market. ๐
