How do you spend your summer days and what kind of summer adventures do you seek?
Hi! fellow Hivers! It’s summertime, and I can feel the scorching heat of the sun. And because we are given a 30-day uninterrupted summer vacation in DepEd, I will spend it with my family. My husband, Ronnie, decided that we go to the newly opened Mango Ranch Waterpark in Valencia, Negros Oriental. From the moment we arrived, the cool water and thrilling slides were waving already. The joyous shouting of the children was infectious.
The kids are too excited to try the slides. There’s something for every child, adult, and thrill level. The “Splash to Web,” a long and multi-lane slide, catches my attention. But of course, we did not try it because of the children; we were afraid. We preferred the gentler slides, and even the adults found it enjoyable, embracing the childlike joy of a waterpark adventure.
Aside from slides, the pool was a source of excitement to the children. We prefer the kids' pool for my 2-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter. The kid’s pool is under the big mango tree, perfect to give shade under the extreme heat of the sun.
A waterpark isn’t complete without a delicious meal. Although the price is not cheap, the food and smoothies are satisfying. The kids enjoyed the popcorn and smoothies while I and my husband liked the beef and chicken. The food court is clean and offers plenty of seats as well as shade under the sun.
Beyond pools, slides, and food, Mango Ranch has a paramotor trike adventure and Go cart too. Speaking of amenities, they have comfortable chairs for parents and children to use while enjoying the view. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained too. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to an overall positive experience.
So, if you’re looking for a fun-filled day, Mango Ranch is the answer and a must-visit place. See you in my next family adventure.
