Here in the Philippines, which is part of ASEAN, mornings can be really good.
Yesterday was one of those days, bright, sunny, so quiet and calm.
When I looked out our window, I saw our cat Hunter lying on the ledge.
He was watching all the greenery moving in the wind.
This cat knows how to relax!
My wife and I decided to do the same.
So we went up to our rooftop with our coffee and milk.
Up there, it felt great.
Cool wind and warm sun at the same time.
This is what life is like in ASEAN.
After resting for a while, it was time to feed our three chickens.
I went to get some kangkong leaves from our garden, cut them into small pieces, mixed them with chicken feed, and gave them to the hens.
And look what I found... three fresh eggs in their coop.
They were good, they rewarded me! HAHA
Store-bought eggs don't taste as good as these.
We cooked the eggs with rice and garlic for breakfast.
A lot of us in ASEAN live like this...
Enjoying simple things, and taking time to be happy with what we have.
And that wraps up today's post, folks. I appreciate you for taking a moment to check out what we've got going on here.
Building this community means a lot, and your time is something I don't take for granted.
