A far view to the horizon, lush surroundings, virgin forest, high cliffs, fresh air; that and all a nature-lover might ask is in the View deck in Minsoro, Manolo Fortich.
I have been so loaded with stress in the past few days and knew that I really needed a break. One day, he said I had to get out of work early so we could go somewhere. The place is a "surprise" and because I trusted him, I obliged. He is my best and only travel buddy anyway.
I thought we are going to Lawis Grand Canyon because I told him that I wanted to go back there but when we started to travel, we are on a different road and I was a little discouraged.
Minutes passed by and We passed Mantibugao and even went further. He then said we will be going to Minsoro and my excitement was rekindled!
A little later, I can see the wonderful scene along the road and asked him to stop the motorcycle but he didn't. A few minutes later we stopped by and boy, I'm speechless!
Vast green scenery welcomed me and my husband; hills after hill and the cliffs facing cliffs!
In fact, from where we are standing is a few steps away from hundreds of meters deep cliff and we were so careful not to make the wrong step closer or else, we would not be found the same day below.
Minsoro is the lower part of Lawis Grand Canyon, the most famous tourist spot in our town. The view deck is not yet developed but there are lots of people stopping by to take pictures but only a few stay to indulge in its beauty.
I just can't take my eyes off the wonderful scenery and I took as many pictures as possible to make me feel like I am still there when I had to leave already.
My heart is full and I am so grateful that I was able to visit the place. If only I could stay a bit more or if possible I could stay in the place.
My eyes feasted on the beautiful view wishing I would be able to bring all the greens and hoping that the forests below will be preserved for the generations to come
My soul is healed; almost immediately seeing the wonderful view gave me a connection to nature and the energy it held. Too strong, too powerful to heal a broken soul just like magic.
We only stayed for just over an hour but it feels like forever to me. I wished to stay button sad we had to go home, our return is never sure but the memories are in me and I am so glad to share them with you.
It's been a few days, weeks even after we went there but I only had the time to share it with you now because I was still indulging in its beauty and the comfort it gave me.
