Hooray! we had a sunny day. It has been also a week since the sky had been so gloomy. In our place rain is not heavier than rain showers but the National risk reduction office had been informing us all through text messages about some areas having heavy rains.
In fact, some areas were submerged by the flood water on Christmas eve and took some lives. But Thank God it is over now and I hope they are already recovering.
Three days after the successive rains, the sun shone so hot and bright and clouds are also hovering around waiting for their time to get enough and come down.
This is what our place looked like then in there morning.
The day before, my co-worker gave me three 50 psos bills for my children, each one will have one and I promised them to but boots with it, though I had to add some but at least there will be something they can remember they had for Christmas.
Also, my eldest daughter had a loose tooth and I encouraged her to pull it put soon so we can have ice cream with her, I do a reward basis on each loose tooth pulled, so they will take good care of their teeth, and will not need braces one day. Pretty strategic, right?
She is borrowing my phone to play but also took a selfie. They really know their way to a phone but they will only borrow one for a period of time so they will not have any distractions in their school.
Unfortunately, she got afraid of pulling it out, she said it hurts so I still did not buy her ice-cream yet.
And while I was on work, the feed mill manager brought his daughter's hand me down clothes, she gained a lot of weight so she decluttered some and gave it to us.
I shared it with all my female co-workers and we had fun selecting the clothes that would fit us. but I only took a hoodie and a long sleeve shirt.
I got bored in the afternoon at work; my body is present but my mind iswanting to go to sleep, or maybe I got so depressed onnot getting my wants this year. Lols.
the thing is that I expected too much but reality sucks.
With my lazy hand, I was still able to pull this beautiful glass cover up and I love it! Now my glass is slip-free and it looks even more beautiful.
At night when I arrived home, I and my husband checked honor pets but a bad news came. One of our pet koi fish died, actually, a lot of them had died andmy husband thinks maybe it was because of bad filtration system he made.
My husband had clever idea; to get ri dof the kids distrubingteh pace out fish had, he brought in some tadpoles for them to care for. It had been a few days and the tiny creatures grew limbs and they are actually looking like frogs now.
I never see them develop when I was young.
On this pond, I have guppies, sword taila nd mickey mouse fish. I have plant sto help me with the creation and is scheduled to have a water change that night.
This is the lost koi we had today. It's so painful to see them die after investing time and effort in them.
During Dinner, my eledst daughter craved for chorizo, but at that time, our cash ran out, still ate the food we gave her but her face looks unhappy. Also, teht day she finally pulled out her tooth and is asking, no demanding for teh ice cream we promise.
She even insisted that she still had her money being kept so I and my husband decided to openour piggy bank that night and askedmy sister for additional funds to buy ice cream.
Before we even reached home from buying ice-cream, we saw her on teh road and met us to buy he grille dchorizo that sh had been carving for.
She looks so happy to have her wants but unfortunately, the meat was spicy for her.
So after dinner, we got back to tend to our fish, we replaced their water, and cleaned te tub.
While doing our thing, the kids are having fun inside, my eldest daughter drew a snowman on the wall, but to me, it looks like a minion snowman, haha.
And here are my kids, taking a group together. The work took us until past nine in the evening and as soon as we finished with the fish, I set my kids to sleep.
I had a very long day and felt very tired. But stress got into me again and It felt like I was not sleeping at all.
This will be all for today, keep safe, and Happy new year everybody!
