London Tourist
I ACTUALLY DID TOURISTY THINGS
I actually did touristy things in London over the weekend haha. It'd been absolute years since I'd done something like that. I actually started off at Green Park, walked through the park to Buckingham Palace to see the guard change. The King's flag wasn't there so, conventionally, it meant he wasn't there either. The Union Jack flew high and flapped proudly in the wind.
Talking of the king, he's currently dealing with health issues. I'm willing to bet he's in Scotland at the moment. That's where I'd be if I were him.
I also walked down St. James Park enjoying the beautiful lake and birds there. There was an Egyptian Goose there with her cygnets. At first I thought thy might have been mixed with a standard goose, since there was one present and she wasn't aggressive towards him. The cygnets also seemed comfortable with him. Is it possible that they were mixed? I'd never know.
I saw the royal guard, a Routemaster bus, 10 Downing Street special forces with the laser guided machine guns, a Harry Potter shop, etc.
I then walked up the South Bank, crossed to the Strand and to Covent Garden before jumping on the tube home. It was a very enjoyable afternoon. The weather was very pleasant and it wasn't too crowded in town.
Peace & Love,
Adé
