I'm so in love with this place, that I comeback several times during the year, on calming days, on stormy days, early in the morning or during sunsets.
This time I was longing for a long exposure, in my lens I had attached my ND1k filter, so the only thing that I needed was to find a really good angle to capture something new to my eyes.
The magic of a long exposure is that everything becomes a fog, a ghostly atmosphere takes all the movement and a smoky silk replaces the water.
This values for this shot were 20s f14 iso100. Using a Neutral Density filter is like placing sunglasses at the lens, the light is lowered by units called "stops" and in my case, a ND1000 filter sums 10 stops, so, at broad daylight, I can reach exposure of several seconds.
This is a cell phone photo during the session. Look, my left knee is just there!
For the second shot, I wanted to capture the water in motion, that can be achieved by setting the exposure from 0.5 to 4 seconds. I was affraid to remove my filter on site, so I leaved it on the lens and changed the aperture, so the final values were: 0.8s F3.2 ISO100
Thank you so much for your attention! Thanks for the opportunity!
